10 Day Japan Itinerary: Adventure from Tokyo to Snow Fields and Osaka on the bullet train

Welcome to Japan, a country that boasts a rich cultural heritage, fascinating history, delicious cuisine, and breathtaking scenery. This 10-day itinerary will take you on an unforgettable journey through Tokyo, Osaka, and the snowfields closest to Tokyo, where you can explore some of the most exciting activities, delicious restaurants, and soar from city to city on the bullet train .


Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo

After arriving in Tokyo, check into your hotel and go for a stroll around Tokyo's friendly neighbourhoods. There's plenty to see and do, get lost in Shibuya, Shinjuku and Tokyo's tech hub known as the electric city, Akihabara.


Day 2: Tokyo Exploration

Spend your first full day in Tokyo exploring some of the city's top-rated attractions, such as the Tokyo Tower, the Senso-ji Temple, and the Meiji Shrine. You can also visit the bustling neighborhoods of Shibuya and Shinjuku and experience the vibrant nightlife of the city.


Day 3: Mario Kart in the Streets of Tokyo

On your third day, book a Mario Kart tour and explore the streets of Tokyo in a unique and thrilling way. Drive past famous landmarks and popular neighborhoods, such as Shibuya and Tokyo's tech hub Akihabara.


Day 4: Yuwaza Snow Fields

Leave Tokyo for three nights to explore the snow fields closest to Tokyo, which offer fantastic skiing and snowboarding opportunities. The best way to get to the snow fields in Yuwaza is by taking a bus from Shinjuku Station, which takes approximately two hours.


Day 5: Yuwaza Snow Fields

Spend your second day on the slopes, skiing or snowboarding down some of the best runs in Japan. After a long day on the mountain, warm up with a hot pot dinner in one of the local eateries.


Day 6: Yuwaza Snow Fields

Spend your last day on the mountain and take in the stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Afterward, enjoy a soothing hot spring soak at one of the local onsens.


Day 7: Osaka Exploration

After an early morning departure from the Yuwaza snow fields and returning to Tokyo, take the bullet train to Osaka(approximately 2.5 to 3 hours on the Shinkansen). Then check into your hotel. Once you have checked in, explore the vibrant city of Osaka, visiting the Osaka Castle, the Shitennoji Temple, and the vibrant Dotonbori district.


Day 8: Day Trip to Kyoto

On your eighth day, take a day trip to the nearby city of Kyoto and visit some of its highest-rated attractions, such as the Kinkaku-ji Temple, the Fushimi Inari Shrine, and the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.


Day 9: Nara Deer Park and Local Markets

On your second to last day, visit the famous Nara Deer Park, where you can interact with friendly deer and explore the local markets. You can also visit the Todai-ji Temple, one of Japan's most important Buddhist temples.


Day 10: Departure

On your final day, enjoy a final breakfast in Osaka before departing from the airport.

  2. Kushikatsu Tanaka: Known for its deep-fried skewered food, Kushikatsu Tanaka offers a casual dining experience and a unique taste.

Japan has four seasons: spring (March to May) for cherry blossoms, summer (June to August) for festivals, fall (September to November) for colorful foliage, and winter (December to February) for winter sports and hot springs. Plan ahead and book accommodations and activities in advance for peak travel seasons.
